Durable, heavy duty, solid composite decking
Heavy duty, solid decking boards with a reversible ribbed or grooved finish make for a space that is sleek, sustainable and durable. Our Signature HD collection offers a robust decking option that is manufactured from eco-friendly Wood Polymer Composite and is ideal for commercial applications thanks to increased board thickness. Delivering a timber effect style and designed to be low maintenance and slip resistant, the collection is available in a variety of lengths to work with your exact space requirements.
Signature HD colour options
Designed with a reversible ribbed or grooved finish, our Signature HD board is available in five different colours to perfectly complement your outdoor space. See below to discover our Signature HD options.
Anti-slip inserts
All our boards have been designed to minimise slip risk. However sometimes additional peace of mind is needed, so for those decks where increased slip resistance is required, we offer a choice of two anti-slip inserts, either a single or double strip insert. For further information about these options contact the Ecodek team.
Due to computer monitors displaying colours differently, actual colours and patterns may vary. We try extremely hard to ensure our photos are as life-like as possible, but please understand that the actual colour and pattern may look slightly different in real life. To ensure the colour and pattern is to your liking, we encourage you to order samples before making your final decision.
Matching fascia boards
Each of our ranges provide the option of matching fascia boards to finish your deck in style. Our fascia boards have been expertly designed to withstand heavy footfall and traffic, as well as covering and protecting the edges of your decking system, giving it a high-quality aesthetic.

FAQs
Composite decking is a robust alternative to wood, which can last even longer and provide a low-maintenance surface perfect for your garden. The material is a combination of wood fibres, recycled plastics, and bonding agents. These materials are heated together, formed into boards and then cooled. The result is a high-quality, long-lasting composite board, which has all the beauty of timber but the practicalities of plastic.
Although hollow deck boards are cheaper to buy in the short term, they are simply not as durable, meaning that you might have to replace your decking sooner than expected. All Ecodek boards come with a minimum of 25-year guarantee for residential installations.
Ecodek is made from hardwood fibres in order to minimise natural UV fading. There will still be some fade visible over the first few months, giving a more textured appearance; this is a standard process known as weathering. Any initial colour difference between boards is due to the natural colour variance in the wood fibres and, once weathered, the boards will all be a similar colour tone. The most fade resistant colours are Slate Grey, Dark Brown and Black.
Composite decks are not slippery, even when wet. However, it’s important during colder months to be mindful of ice, as with any other surface. Even more so, be careful when trying to remove ice from composite decking as this can cause damage to the surface.
Due to their increased strength, solid boards are generally of a higher quality than their hollow counter parts. This combination of quality and solidity also means these boards have a longer life span. This means they do not need to be replaced as often as hollow boards and usually carry longer warranties, providing you with the peace of mind that you’ve purchased a superior product.
All of our Ecodek products come with a minimum 25-year warranty period.
Please visit the Installation guide section of our website where you will find full installation instructions and an installation video.
Ecodek Signature and Heritage is very tough and robust, and therefore difficult to damage under normal circumstances. If the boards get marked or damaged by garden furniture etc, then the marks can be softened and blended back into the deck by rubbing a walnut over the marks. (Please see our Ecodek Care and Maintenance Schedule for more details.)
After your Ecodek Signature and Heritage wood composite deck has been constructed, there are likely to be some pencil marks. These can be removed with a normal pencil eraser. After installation, the simplest way to clean your beautiful new deck is to use a hosepipe and a deck cleaning solution periodically or for less stubborn stains, simply use a soft brush or sponge. Do not use a scourer, jet wash or stiff brush as this will leave marks on the deck. (See our full Ecodek Care and Maintenance Schedule for further details.)
