Adek, our innovative lightweight, non-combustible, A2Fl-s1 fire rated decking system, has been specifically developed to meet the stringent safety requirements for high rise balconies, roof terraces and walkways. It is available in two grips – Comfort and Enhanced – both of which are extremely comfortable underfoot and provide exceptional slip resistance. So, what is the difference between these two grips?
Comfort & Class Combined
As you can see, the Adek Comfort Grip board offers a sleek and modern look that will add interest to any installation, whether a compact balcony or large roof terrace. The unique finish of the Comfort Grip board gives a ‘foot friendly’ finish, with an extremely smooth surface that still provides high levels of grip*.
Exceptionally Enhanced Grip
Our Adek Enhanced Grip range offers the same contemporary style of the Adek Comfort Grip but features a low profile (1mm) raised ridge that runs the full length of the boards. This chamfered edge means the boards are still comfortable underfoot but provide exceptionally high levels of slip resistance, with tests showing that the Enhanced range offers an additional 15 percent more grip in dry weather and 20 percent more in wet conditions over its Comfort counterpart.
Adek Adapting To Any Application
Both ranges come as a complete system – including boards, bearers, pedestals, trims and fixings – and are available in a variety of profiles that will adapt to any design. This makes the specification process for both new build developments and refurbishment projects quick and exceptionally straightforward. Once ordered and delivered, the Adek range is easy to install and can be fitted both on and off-site.
Long Lasting Sustainability
We’re proud that the entire Adek aluminium decking range is manufactured from 100 percent recycled aluminum with a durable decorative coating that provides excellent wear resistance, whilst requiring minimal maintenance.
