As you all know here at Ecodek we are very proud to be a British Manufacturer supporting business is important to us and it gives us great pleasure to showcase an install of our Heritage range at The Pele Tower – Killington Hall.
Killington Hall is a beautifully restored Grade II historic building located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, following the bank of the River Lune as it flows towards Kirby Lonsdale. Built in the early 1400’s the original Pele Tower was sited over the top of an earlier 14th Century moated site.
The owners of Killington Hall, Andy and Ann Newbold moved into the hall in 2003 and have done an amazing job of fully transforming it to its former glory, with a contrast of both new and old features. After 10 years the restoration of the derelict Pele Tower has recently been completed.
Ann mentioned that their Joiner had recommended Heritage to them and clicked onto our website to find out further details about the profile.
I caught up with Ann recently to find out what she thought of this profile.
“In the end we chose the Heritage profile as we wanted a sustainable decking board. With its weather resistance and longevity, Heritage was the perfect product for our project.”
“Almost instantly we opted for Welsh Slate as our colour choice, it ties in so well with the rest of the colour scheme and stone effect.”
They ordered 22 square metres of our Welsh Slate Heritage profile in standard lengths of 3.6m and as you can see this refurb has totally transformed the outdoor space.
Recently Andy and Ann held an opening celebration to mark the completion of the project which is now available for holiday rental as a luxury 2 bedroomed holiday castle.
They are extremely happy with the installation and have received good feedback. Someone walked onto the product prior to the open day and mentioned that they recognized our profile and said that it is a great product. It’s nice to know that our product is well known out there.
