Janine Pattison Studios, Sandbanks, Dorset

At Ecodek we enjoy a high proportion of repeat custom, something we believe shows both the high quality of our products and our customer service. We have worked with Janine Pattison Studios on several projects over the years, and the Sandbanks project is a real stunner! Janine had the following to say about the project and Ecodek. ‘The whole rear garden is in the Root Protection Area of a valuable stand of Tree Preservation Order trees so a decking boardwalk was the obvious solution. We wanted to use eco-friendly products which would be long lasting, be eco-friendly and look good.

The location of the site being right on the beach meant that conditions are extremely harsh with wind, sand and salt ever present. A tough challenge for any materials. The robust nature of Ecodek was ideal for the project. The range of colours was good and felt that the brown was ideal as it looked very natural in the setting. The ribbed side means it is non slip without trapping and restraining debris and moisture. We have specified Ecodek many times for our high end residential schemes and have found the products to be excellent. Many of our projects are coastal and really test materials to the limit. Ecodek comes through with flying colours.
